Employee Relations

Regular labor-management meetings are held to encourage employees to actively express their opinions and suggestions, aiming for effective two-way communication. The company’s various employee welfare measures, continuing education, training, retirement system, and their implementation status, as well as the agreements between labor and management and the implementation of measures to protect employee rights, are as follows:

(1) Employee welfare measures, continuing education, training, and their implementation status
The company places importance on employee welfare and provides a good working environment. It implements various employee welfare measures, including emergency assistance, holiday gifts, and employee travel subsidies. Regarding training, the company prepares an annual education and training plan and allocates a budget for education and training expenses to support employees’ further education and professional knowledge enhancement.

(2) Retirement system and its implementation status
The company has adopted a defined contribution system in accordance with the Labor Standards Act. The retirement benefits are provided by the company by deducting 6% of the monthly wages as retirement funds, which are deposited in the individual retirement accounts of the employees. For subsidiaries located outside the territory of the Republic of China, contributions are made in accordance with the relevant local laws and regulations. In various regions of mainland China, the requirements for employee contribution to the pension insurance range from 12% to 22% of the insurance base.

(3) Agreements between labor and management and the implementation of measures to protect employee rights
The company’s measures and regulations regarding labor relations are based on relevant laws and regulations. The company has always adhered to a management approach that emphasizes self-governance and the participation of all employees. Effective communication between department supervisors and subordinates is facilitated through various business meetings, educational training, and open channels of communication, resulting in a good labor-management relationship.
